Finally! After two years on hiatus and two years online, the New York State Department of Education has reinstated NYSSSA for three programs that will be in residence for three weeks at SUNY Fredonia in July 2024!

The New York State Summer School of the Arts (NYSSSA) is a series of summer institutes and conservatories for New York State high school students who are dedicated to studying the arts.
NYSSSA provides intensive pre-professional training, coaching and leadership initiatives. New York State high school age students throughout the state may qualify.
Three of the seven schools, all residential programs, will operate in 2024:
media arts, theatre and visual arts.
In New York, the nation's leading home for the arts, NYSSSA opens doors for students to share and build the creativity and vision that makes the state bold and forward-thinking.
